We’re seeing some instability and fluctuations in Google Search, which may be due to the Google Product Reviews update that started late last Friday, and the tools noticed it on Wednesday, but that was after it finished rolling out. Google added new links to content guidelines, one of these guidelines was for SEO best practices for bloggers which was later removed. Google is still shifting websites to mobile-first indexing more than 5 and a half years later. Google Search Console has temporarily suspended the fix validation feature during some classification changes. John Mueller from Google gave a wonderful SEO speech that some may not like. Google has changed the way it displays snippets for search results with quoted text. Google is testing “perspectives” in search results. Google tests website names and favicons for image results in web searches. Google loading new people also ask in the footer. Google is also re-displaying in 3D for some products. Google Business Profiles is testing an expandable menu to edit your listing. Google has added Asian-owned attributes to Google Business Profiles. Discovery ads now work with the Google Ads Editor and API and more… Google has a new tag, called the Google Tag. Microsoft Advertising has released a slew of features including the introduction of car ads, new ad formats, more bidding options and more. Update My Browser lists Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera on its home page and can correctly identify your browser within that list.
