Local SEOs: Check Your Photos In Your Google Maps Pin Overlay

Mike Blumenthal dropped a simple but thoughtful local SEO tip that all businesses should do sometime in the near future. Just check out the featured photos that Google has chosen to display in your Google Maps pin overlay.

Mike said on Twitter, “When the new side map was introduced to the Local Pack last month, I didn’t notice the 2 images pop up when scrolling over the pin. Worth looking for see what two images are showing for you.”

Indeed and while you may not be able to manage 100% of what Google puts in that pin overlay, you can manage your Google Business Profiles by listing your business on Google and editing the your business profile. You can add new photos and manage old photos from there.
